Wandel Guides is a boutique publishing house dedicated to providing a "new generation" of multimedia resources to hikers. Founded by Gregory Maassen, Ph.D., Wandel Guides develops hiking guides which have been tested extensively in the field. Each title is reviewed by a panel of 10-15 end-users before publication and is accompanied by GPS E-trails, tracks and waypoints, videos, soundtracks, planning tools and hiking maps.
Wandel Guides is located in Washington DC, USA and published "Hiking in Jordan" in May 2014 as part of the Hiking in Jordan Multimedia Project in addition to the hiking guide for South Africa. The guidebooks are available in major (online) bookstores in hard copy and as E-book through this website, Google Play Store and Amazon.
Several other hiking guides are currently under development.
