South Africa - Hiking Trails in and Around Pretoria and Johannesburg.Walk among giraffes, warthogs, herds of kudu, wildebeest, impala, blesbok and zebra in open grasslands and hillsides with sandstone formations and a beautiful gorge in a stunning nature reserve

With a strong focus on ecotourism and education, the nature reserve provides visitors the opportunity to walk self-guided through amazing landscapes. It is home to many animals (over 2,500) in a peaceful and quiet environment.

This is a circular trail which is a combination of the yellow and green trails. The trail starts from the hikers’ huts near the gorge to which you can drive by car (some 6 kilometers from the reception desk at the visitors’ center).
