Walk among giraffes, warthogs, herds of kudu, wildebeest, impala, blesbok and zebra in open grasslands and hillsides with sandstone formations and a beautiful gorge in a stunning nature reserve
With a strong focus on ecotourism and education, the nature reserve provides visitors with the opportunity to walk self-guided through amazing landscapes. It is home to many animals (over 2,500) in a peaceful and quiet environment.
This is a shorter version of the Yellow Burkea Trail. Although you are missing out on the gorge and the river, it is a relatively easy trail and the views are nevertheless breathtaking. You will be walking mainly through the grasslands which provide ample opportunity to encounter wildlife.
