Walk in a wonderful area to decompress and enjoy the numerous dassies and tortoises that roam around freely
The reserve is home to two bird hides and has a great picnic spot for the family with its lapa (a thatched roof gazebo) and well-maintained grassfields near the dam.
This is a lovely walking trail with several short side-excursions leading deeper into the bush and onto small hills where you can spot the dassies in action. The reserve is also known for its freely roaming tortoises which can be easily spotted on the trail on a good day. You may also see duiker and klipspringer along the trail.
