52-1 Pink Trail

Walk among mountain bikers, bird watchers and horseback riders on an operating farm of 2,500 hectares not far from Johannesburg with great views, small ponds, farm animals and lush vegetation

The land at the farm historically was used to treat wastewater through a maturation pond system. Nowadays, the area with its grasslands and wood- lands is farmed with Bovelder cattle and various crops.

This is a short and pleasant walk into the pastures. It follows the pink route markers near the bikers’ paths. It is an easy short walk that leads briefly into the valley and follows a path near a few small ponds. The terrain is flat and easy to follow.
