52-2 Green Trail

Walk among mountain bikers, bird watchers and horseback riders on an operating farm of 2,500 hectares not far from Johannesburg with great views, small ponds, farm animals and lush vegetation

The land at the farm historically was used to treat wastewater through a maturation pond system. Nowadays, the area with its grasslands and wood- lands is farmed with Bovelder cattle and various crops.

The Green Trail is a lovely walk in the farmfields that offers excellent views of the valley. It follows the green route markers near the bikers’ paths. If you have time, consider this longer trail compared to the Pink Trail as the landscape is more varied with greater views of the valley.
