Hike in a wonderful nature reserve near Johannesburg among zebra, wildebeest, blesbok and other wildlife with unparalleled views of Johannesburg and its surroundings
The nature reserve was established on March 27, 1974, after several farms were purchased in the area. With over 17,000 hectares, this is a large reserve with plenty of wildlife and hiking opportunities.
This very short and easy to follow trail is ideal if you would like to combine a short hiking trail with a game drive in the reserve. Although we did not see wildlife, the views are nice and the trail is suitable for less experienced hikers.
