It is believed that the meteorite impact that shaped this area created a crater with a diameter of 300 kilometers. The impact occurred some two billion years ago when the only living organisms on earth were algae.
Although the trail markers are easy to follow initially, the tall grass in the open valley may make it more difficult to follow the exact trail. The GPS trail in our collection will make it easier to follow the path.
