Although some hikers may have the skill and appetite to go upstream into the gorge, the difficulty of navigating the steep inclines, water pools and boulders may make it impossible and unsafe to reach the top for inexperienced mountain climbers. It is better to navigate the mountain on the right side of the gorge as it is less steep.
