Walk to the top of the Magaliesberg Mountain Range on this demanding hike for superb views of the Hartbeespoort Dam and its surroundings in a private nature reserve 

The trails are in the private nature reserve. Designed for the serious hiker, the trails show the best the Magaliesberg Mountain Range has to offer combined with outstanding views of the lake at Hartbeespoort, a popular weekend destination for nature lovers.

This trail is much easier than the full circular trail as the path leading to and from the summit is less steep and easier to navigate. Although we classify the trail as moderately difficult, it is a healthy hike up the hillside. If you like flat terrain, this is not your trail.
