Hike in a small nature reserve in the center of Pretoria East among zebras, impalas, hartebeests and small wildlife
Visiting the nature reserve is a family-friendly excursion with great views of Pretoria’s surroundings.
The reserve used to be part of the Hartbeespoort Farm that belonged to the Struben family and forms part of the Bronberg Conservation area.
The Hadeda Trail is a pleasant and easy hike popular with walkers on the hills of the reserve. The chances of spotting wildlife, including zebra, impala and red hartebeest are relatively high and increase in the lowland grassfields in the valley.
