Hike in a small nature reserve in the center of Pretoria East among zebras, impalas, hartebeests and small wildlife
Visiting the nature reserve is a family-friendly excursion with great views of Pretoria’s surroundings.
The reserve used to be part of the Hartbeespoort Farm that belonged to the Struben family and forms part of the Bronberg Conservation area.
The Acacia Trail is a pleasant and easy hike popular with walkers, avoiding the hills. The trail starts from the visitors’ center. After you have walked straight toward the hills, the trail turns right where the Hadeda Trail turns left near a stream.
