Walk on the slopes of the Magaliesberg Mountain Range in a private reserve with great views of the area as part of a magnificent wildlife experience
With over 5,000 hectares of natural African bushveld and an abundance of wildlife, the reserve offers daily game drives. The lodge is home to one of the largest private collections of ox wagons, carts and other animal-drawn vehicles built between 1800 and 1900.
This may well be one of the easiest trails to reach the top of the Magaliesberg Mountain Range from the south. Starting from the rangers’ center, you are transported through the reserve by jeep to the starting point of the trail. This short 15-minute ride is a mini game drive as you will see a waterhole that attracts wildlife before dense bushland starts.
